Description

This is a correction to a previously published CBD notice. The previous description is incorrect. Replace with the following: The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 2, Albuquerque, New Mexico has a requirement for an experienced contractor to furnish all necessary materials, equipment, labor, permits, licenses and services to conduct a study to drill and construct a water well to ascertain the lithic characteristics of the sediments of the subsurface, monitor changes in head with depth during drilling and determine the relative position of aquifers and aquitards controlling the artesian conditions. Project includes, but not limited to, collection of well cuttings to correlate geophysical and isotopic information and detailed daily logs of drilling operations. Due to the scientific nature of this project, only contractors capable of using a dual-rotary air system (DR-16) rig will be considered for this project. Offerors must licensed within the State of Arizona and be familiar with well drilling and permit requirements for that State. Offerors must have an on-site Hydrogeologist during work on this project. The project is located at the San Bernardino National Wildlife Refuge, east of Douglas, Cochise County, Arizona. The price range for this project is less than $100,000.00. This acquisition is issued under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program under NAICS Code 235810 and is open to both large and small business concerns.
