Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA) requires a contractor to provide maintenance and repair services to twenty-eight EYECOM 10,000 Readers/Printer twenty five (25) located in Baltimore, MD and three (3) located in Boyer, PA. This procurement will be for commercial item services prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) parts 12 and 13. Competitive prices will be solicited and accepted. Contractor must be an authorized EYECOM dealer/maintenance provider. The period of performance shall be one year from date of award, with provisions for the inclusion of four one year options periods. Solicitation number SSA-RFQ-02-0015 is schedule for release on or about October 6, 2001 with proposals due 10 days later. Request for the RFQ should be received no later than 5 days after date of this publications. This requirement is a 100 % small business set aside. Proposals received from other than small business will be deemed unacceptable and will be given no further consideration. The North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811412 and the business size standard of 5.0 millions. No telephones request for this RFQ will be honored.
