Description

The 89th Contracting Squadron (89CONS), Andrews AFB Maryland, anticipates issuing a solicitation and awarding a firm-fixed priced contract to the Mona Electrical Services, Inc., Clinton MD, to acquire maintenance and repair for fire alarm services and utility electronic control systems on Andrews AFB and remote sites. As funds are not presently available for this acquisition, the solicitation will be issued under FAR clause 52.232-18 ? Availability of Funds. Any order resulting from this acquisition will be a two-month period. The NAIC code is 561621 ($9.0). Mona Electrical Services will provide services include testing, inspection, preventive and corrective maintenance and identification and documentation of equipment and associated devices for various building. This procurement shall be made under the authority of USC 2304(c)(1) and FAR clause 6.302-1?Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. 89CONS anticipates issuing the solicitation on or about 10 October 2001, with anticipated award by 12 October 2001 and contract starts on 12 October 2001. =20
