- 17. This is a Sources Sought Synopsis. The U.S. Coast Guard is conducting market research to determine the existence and interest of possible sources to provide information on logistics support programs for its Rolls-Royce BR710 aircraft engines installed on its C37A aircraft. The C37A is a military version of the Gulfstream GV aircraft. Coast Guard personnel will perform minor aircraft engine maintenance, such as, preflight, thru flight, post flight, and routine engine related inspections. This request solicits vendor's information that fully explains existing performance based logistics support capabilities.=20 Responses should address how the respondent addresses: (a) Recommended organizational level maintenance support; (b) Recommended intermediate level maintenance support; (c) Recommended depot level maintenance support; (d) Point of contact including name, title, phone and email addresses; (e) The size of the contractor, average annual revenue for the past three years and the number of employees; and (f) Whether the business is currently classified as a Large, Small, Small Disadvantaged, 8(a) and/or Woman Owned company, Hub Zone small business, veteran owned small business, or service disabled veteran owned small business. The NAICS code related to logistic support for this engine is 36412. Prospective vendors are also encouraged to include a capability summary that does not exceed ten (10) pages in length describing their most relevant corporate experience, and their approach in meeting the requirements stated above.
