NIMA Community Geospatial Intelligence Training Council (CGITC) Conference NIMA Defense Mapping School Fort Belvoir, Virginia December 4, 2001 The NIMA-sponsored CGITC is a forum to capture geospatial doctrine, training and people requirements to support NIMA's transition from creating paper products to brokering digital geospatial information. The CGITC's mission is to examine geospatial information training issues and to establish geospatial training standards. Collectively, these standards will ensure the availability of adequate, responsible and efficient geospatial information training for military personnel, and civilian personnel in the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Intelligence Community (IC). The conference's primary audience is Geospatial Information and Services (GI&S) Officers stationed worldwide, as well as those holding similar positions within the various DoD and IC agencies. The exposition will be held on day 2 of the conference. The audience will be comprised of approximately 75 high level NIMA participants from across the U.S. and internationally. In addition, there will be attendees invited from the NIMA College and Defense Mapping School
