November 5 -- 8, 2001 Aircraft Survivability 2001 Event #2940 Naval Postgraduate School Monterey, CA This SECRET/US Only symposium focuses on meeting the challenges to successfully integrate survivability into current, near current and out year combat airborne platform designs. These platforms will form the basis of 21st Century U.S. force structures and must meet the twin challenges of evolving threat complexity and limited defense budgets. This symposium will be an opportunity to present and discuss the types of initiatives that will be necessary to meet the survivability integration needs of the 21st Century. Sessions are being planned on such topics as the Integrated Survivability Assessment Process, Cyberwarfare, Uniformed Services S&T Initiatives as well as Industry Perspectives and Innovations. The symposium will examine issues and challenges to air combat survivability posed by new and existing threats and all aspects of the system/subsystem integration process.
