Description

The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service invites bids on a contract for the construction of the Headquarters/Visitor Center Complex at the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge, Newburyport, Massachusetts. This work will involve the construction of two wood framed buildings, an educational/administrative building, and a maintenance building both on concrete foundations with a combined total of approximately 18,700 square feet. The work will also include all necessary site work, paving, landscaping and utility installation. The facility will utilize ground water as heat sink for modular heat pump HVAC system. This solicitiation will consist of two phases. Package 1 Phase 1, Headquarters/Visitor Center Complex and Package 1 Phase 2, Site Development. Portions of both phases will be subject to availability of funds. The cost for plans and specifications will be $125.00. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 233320 (former SIC code 1542). Estimated magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. This is an unrestricted procurement in accordance with Public Law 100-656 and is open to any size business. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered.
