Description

This is a modification to a previous presolicitation notice. Solicitation number SP0475-01-R-2457 has been changed to solicitation number SP0475-02-R-0635 due to delayed release and the beginning of a new government fiscal year. 1680-01-146-8239, Overheat Fire Detector, manufactured to Whittaker Corp CAGE 25693 P/N 3151-16-500/325-9. Approved sources: Meggitt Safety Systems Inc. and Northrop Grumman Corp. Flight safety/critical application item. Any manufacturer not previously mentioned must submit a complete Source Approval Request package for evaluation in order to be considered for award (see FAR 52.217-9002 and 52.217-9G04). No drawings or sample parts available. This solicitation will result in an Indefinite Quantity Contract with a base year and four one-year option periods. The estimated annual demand is 216 each for the base year and 96 each for the option years. FOB is origin with inspection/acceptance at origin IAW QAP 003. Requested delivery is 90 days ARO.
