Description

This is AMENDMENT 0003 to RFP USZA23-02-R-0002 which was published in the CBD on 2 October. This amendment is issued to provide responses to questions received from potential offerors concerning the on-site support requirements of this solicitation. (1) For OCONUS on-site repairs, what locations are expected to contain systems? Answer: UK, Japan and Korea. (2) Will the Government post locations (nearest city) of where it intends to place the systems within CONUS? Answer: No. All locations have major air service capability. (3) Will technicians who perform on-site maintenance be required to have a security clearance? Answer: No. (4) Does the Government have qualified maintainers who will remove and replace parts once identified by tech support? Answer: Yes. (end of questions and answers) Offerors are reminded that FACSIMILE PROPOSALS AND ELECTRONIC PROPOSALS ARE NOT AUTHORIZED AND WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR AWARD. Proposals shall be submitted in accordance with instructions contained in the original solicitation and shall contain all information, representations and certifications identified. Failure to comply with all requirements of the solicitation may result in an offeror being eliminated from consideration for award. Proposals (4 copies) shall be submitted no later than 4:30 p.m. Eastern time, 18 October 2001, to the Integrated Aviation Systems 21 Working Group, Attn: AMSAM-TASO-I (H.
