Description

The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Office of Education Programs, Branch of Contracts, solicits the services of firms to provide satellite mobile and fixed equipment, satellite services and training for the BIA, Office of Law Enforcement Services. These satellite units will be utilized in five (5) BIA, Law Enforcement Districts, located throughout the United States of American. The systems to be implemented will consist of stand alone configurations and fixed units interfaced with conventional two-way radio systems that conform to EIA/TIA 102, APCO Project 25 Standards. The training to be provided will be on the operation of the mobile units and demonstration of system configuration. The award will be made based on the following evaluation factors: Descending order of importance: Past Experience with similar projects and Price. The BIA intends to award a firm-fixed price contract. The estimated starting date is December 3, 2001 and completion date December 31, 2002.
