Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice, and Far Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-19. This is an unrestricted combined synopsis/solicitation. This solicitation number M67399-02-Q-0001 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the following equipment to be lease for the period of 12/Nov/01 to 30/Nov/01: CLIN 001- Self Loader, Cat 623, Qty 5 ea, CLIN 002- Road Grader, Cat 140H, Qty 4 ea., CLIN 003- Compactor Vibratory, smooth drum, 10-12 ton 2 drum, Qty 3 ea, CLIN 004- Compactor, Vibratory, sheep foot dru m Qty 2 ea, CLIN 005- Water Truck, 4000 gal Qty 4 ea., CLIN 006- Loader front end wheeled w/ 5 cu yard bucket, CLIN 007- Bull Dozer, D-7 with ripper, Qty 2 ea., CLIN 008- Tank, 10,000 gal Water Drop Qty 2 ea. Deliveries and Pickup will be made to Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California. Inspection and acceptance will be at destination. DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items, applies, with the following clauses applicable to paragraph (b): DFARS 252.225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payments Program. The Government intends to make a single award to the responsible offeror whose quote conforming to this combined CBD synopsis/solicitation, will be the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Evaluation will be based on the best value to the government considering price, past performance and delivery time.
