Description

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport, has a requirement to acquire the following on a sole-source basis from the Original Equipment Manufacturer -- MacTaggart Scott & Co. Ltd.: Hydraulic motors, Automatic valves, Hydraulic control units and Cable Capstan Assemblies. MacTaggart Scott & Co. LTD is the Original Equipment Manufacturer. The Government intends to award An IDIQ contract with firm-fixed price provisions. The necessary specifications and manufacturing drawings to effectively compete these requirements do not reside with the U.S. Navy; they are proprietary to MacTaggart Scott & Co. LTD. Because these components are integral parts of the Towed Array Systems, exact replacement is required. NAICS Code is 332999 This notice is for information only.
