- Description
- The work includes furnishing all labor, tools, materials, and equipment to replace the existing fire detection and alarm system in the Industrial Building with an addressable fire detection and alarm system and other new and demolition work. The new system shall include a new addressable fire alarm control panel, addressable heat detectors, addressable duct detectors, addressable manual pull stations, and audible/visual notification appliances and remote annunciator panel. The new control panel in the Industrial Building shall be monitored by the existing Simplex addressable fire alarm control panel in the Administration Building via a new signal cable in the existing underground conduit. There is no charge for the Request for Quotation (RFQ) packages. No telephone requests shall be accepted. All requests for this package must be in writing. Requests may be faxed to 305-278-6696. This RFQ is being issued as a Small Business Set-Aside. The estimated price range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The applicable North American Industry Class System (NAICS) Code is 235310. The small business size standard is a three-year averaged annual gross receipt of $11.5M. The contract performance period is 60 calendar days. Payment Bond is required prior to issuance of Notice to Proceed. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which will be considered by this agency. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), offers working capital financing and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts.
