Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) type contract for software and hardware support for the E-2C Mission Computer Upgrade (MCU) and other components of the E-2C aircraft and weapon system. NAVAIR intends to negotiate this contract on a sole source basis with Northrop Grumman Corporation, South Oyster Bay Road, Bethpage, New York 11714. NGC is the designer, developer and sole manufacturer and systems integrator of the E-2C aircraft and weapon system.. As such, Northrop Grumman Corporation is the only firm with the knowledge, experience and technical data necessary to provide these required supplies and services in a timely manner for the purposes of meeting the fleet's operational needs.
