- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. This solicitation is not a set aside. The associated Standard Industrial Classification Code is 2521 with a small business size standard of $18,000,000.00. The National Imagery and Mapping Agency has a requirement for parts care support maintenance for equipment manufactured by Silicon Graphics Inc. (SGI). Parts care support provides telephone access to hardware specialists and rapid access to parts of that system. Period of Performance will be 1 October 2001 through 30 September 2002. Items to be covered are as follows: six (6) Indigo Graphics Machines; twelve (12) Onyx Desksides (Upgrade to IP25 4x195 mhg R10000); one (1) upgrade to IPS25 4x195 mhg R10000 Challenge Rack Server; one (1) Indy R4600 24 Bit Graphics Machine; one (1) Origin 2400 System This solicitation is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ). Interested persons offering the maintenance may identify their interest and capability by submitting a quote. The provisions of 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition with no addenda in addition to the provisions of 52.212-2, Evaluation of Commercial Items. Offerors are advised to include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications- Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial Items apply to this acquisition with no addenda. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items apply to this acquisition. CBD Note 2 applies to this Acquisition. Interested parties shall submit offers with the following information: Offerors's 9 digit Contractor Establishment Code (CEC); Federal Tax Identification Number (TIN); Remit to address if different, and business size. Offers are to be delivered to NIMA, 4600 Sangamore Road, Mail Stop D-88, Attn: Kelly Ashton, Bethesda, Maryland, 20816 within 7 days after CBD announcement.
