Description

. The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue orders on multiple occasions over the period of the Basic Ordering Agreement with Crane Defense Systems, Route 20, Box 1126, Conroe, TX 77301. Orders will be issued for Engineering Change Kits, Refurbishment, Installation and Checkout Materials (INCOs), Maintenance Support Material, Repair Parts, Engineering Services and Support for the OK-520/SQQ Common Winch. Orders will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 )(1). Crane Defense Systems is the current producer and the Navy s repair and overhaul depot for the OK-520/SQQ Common Winch. It is the only known company that currently possesses the in-depth technical knowledge of the equipment required to satisfactorily perform the work under the orders contemplated herein. No other source has the technical qualifications and necessary resources to perform the work desc ribed herein, nor will any other supplies or services satisfy the Navy s requirements.
