Description

Miscellaneous dockside repairs to the NOAA Ship MCARTHUR. Repair items include, but are not be limited to: overhaul forward crane, re-insulate freezer, repair bow, piping repairs, E-buss overhaul, potable water tank recoat, davit inspection and repair, emergency diesel generator overhaul, and repair of condensation problems. Ship characteristics: welded steel hull, 175 feet in length, breadth of 38 feet, draft of 21.1 feet, 995 tons displacement. Expected performance period is January 2, 2002-February 6, 2002. Place of performance is Seattle, WA. Ship inspection will take place in Seattle from November 1-13, 2001. This is a 100 percent small-business set-aside, NAICS Code 336611. See Numbered Note 1.
