Description

This is a notice of intent to negotiate with the Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office on an other than full and open competitive basis for the procurement of V-22 Acquisition Logistics Support (ALS) for calendar year 2002. This effort defines the sustaining efforts necessary to support the management and administration of the CY02 V-22 ILS Program. As Bell-Boeing is the sole source producer of the V-22 Aircraft and is currently providing the sustaining logistics support for this program, no other source would be practicable as a break in logistics support would cause undue harm and cost to the program. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. See numbered note(s) 22.
