Description

1. OO-ALC/LHR is hosting an Industry Day, 5 November 2001, to provide interested industry parties with information on the up coming MSQ-T43(V)4 Missile Guidance Transmitter (MGT) Replacement Program. The MSQ-T43 is an electronic warfare threat simulator used by combat ranges to train aircrews on how to effectively engage or defend against enemy surface-to-air threats. This program will replace the existing MGT with a commercial non-developmental item (NDI). No research and development funding is authorized for this program. Proposed NDI solutions shall meet existing systems performance, increase reliability, and lower maintenance cost. Additionally, the proposed NDI solution shall be a form-fit-function replacement. 2. A draft copy of the Statement of Work is available and interested parties should contact Diane N. Wojciechowski or Eileen Wahlstrom for a copy. Diane N. The contract will be awarded under the Fast Acquisition and Sustainment Tool (FAST) and interested parties must be part of one of the approved FAST teams to compete. The program office is projecting an official Request For Order Proposal (RFOP) release of 19 November 01 and a contract award in December 2001. 4. Parties interested in attending the industry day shall send a visit request via email to Gayleen Tucker, OO-ALC/LHR, Hill AFB UT, gayleen.tucker@hill.af.mil with a courtesy copy to Eileen Wahlstrom, OO-ALC/LHKC, Hill AFB UT, eileen.wahlstrom@hill.af.mil The visit request should be accomplished on an AFMC Form 97 or a letter from their company with dates of visit, names, purpose of visit, person they are visiting, and security clearance.
