Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to negotiate with Raytheon Company, 528 Boston Post Road, Sudbury, MA 01176 for the FY02 AEGIS Program Requirements, specifically the AEGIS Weapon System Transmitter Group OT-146/SPY-1D(V) and MK 99 MOD 7 AEGIS Fire Control System, ancillary equipment, components, associated support, data, installation parts, provisioning and documentation. This contract will include unpriced options for the FY03, FY04, and FY05 Program Requirements, including Japanese Foreign Military Sales Requirements. Raytheon is the developer and original equipment manufacturer and is currently the only qualified source for this equipment with the special production facilities and test equipment. RFP N00024-01-R-5168 will be issued to Raytheon. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Raytheon directly. See Note 22
