Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes sole source solicitation; proposals are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be listed in accordance with Note 22. 701812Q003 is issued as a sole source request for quotation. This acquisition and the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The following fuel requirements will be fulfilled and purchased from Frosty Fuels Inc in Cold Bay, Alaska whose main office is Frosty Fuels Inc, 4700 W International Road, Anchorage, AK 99502 due to Frosty Fuels Inc is the only fuel supplier in the Cold Bay area. Cold Bay, AK is a community of 80 people and is an isolated bush community. The Izembek National Wildlife Refuge headquarters has no bulk fuel storage and purchase approximately 8100 gallons of heating oil, 1300 gallons of unleaded gasoline and 1300 gallons of avgas every fiscal year and can only be accomplished from Frosty Fuels Inc in Cold Bay, AK. Delivery, inspection and acceptance will be at Izembek National Wildlife Refuge, Cold Bay, Alaska 99571 The following provisions 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items and 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items apply to this acquisition. A completed copy of 52.212-34, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items must be included with the offer. The following clauses 52.212.4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items applies to this order.
