Description

FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire services for the Department of Defense Mentor/Protege Program as implemented in Section 831 of Public Law 101-510 (as amended). Placement of a cost plus fixed fee sole source contract to Microsoft Corporation for the provision of developmental assistance to Open Technologies Group, Inc(OTG) of Silver Springs,MD in accordance with the OSD approved Mentor/Protege Agreement between the two firms is anticipated. As the mentoring firm, Microsoft shall enhance OTG's capabilities to satisfy DoD and other contract and subcontract requirments. Specifically, Microsoft will aid OTG in the areas of sales, technology and process readiness. This procurement is being conducted on a sole source basis under the authority of 10 USC(c)(5).
