Description

The Army CECOM plans a sole source award to Maden Tech Consulting, Inc., 2110 Washington Blvd, Suite 200, Arlington, VA 22204. The proposed action is for a modification of Contract Number DAAB07-01-C-L722 with Maden Tech Consulting, Inc. to acquire a unique PKI solution for the Army Battlefield Command Systems (ABCS). The prototype solution is being tested currently. Needed enhancements to the baseline are required to effectively work the components during the planned 2002 test events at Fort Hood, Texas. These enhancements include developing a legacy interface to the MadenTech middleware solution in addition to modifying the Certificate Authority and Registration Authority workstations to provide a more robust and secure platform than currently exists. Contract Number DAAB07-01-C-L772 is a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) type contract and the proposed efforts will also be performed on a CPFF basis using Research Development Test and Evaluation appropriations.
