Description

Fleet and Industrial Supply Center San Diego has a civilian enterprise (CE) requirement for publication and distribution of the unofficial weekly base newspaper for Naval Air Station Lemoore, CA entitled, "The Golden Eagle". Revenue from the sale of advertisements will constitute full payment to the contractor/publisher. The requirement is for 6,000 copies weekly for 51 weeks each year. The contract shall be for a base 2-year period and provides for two (2) additional 2-year option periods for a total not to exceed six (6) years. It must be noted that CE contracts are not subject to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) or the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), since they are based on an exception to the Government Printing and Binding Regulations published by the Congressional Joint Committee on Printing. All offerors will be required to submit a technic al proposal in accordance with the instructions in the solicitation. Issuance date of the solicitation is estimated as 2 Nov 2001. Contractors wishing to do business with the government must be registered in the CCR.
