Description

Air Force Research Laboratory, Sensors Directorate (AFRL/SN) is soliciting research proposals for MEDUSA Component Technology Development. The objective of this acquisition effort is to develop and demonstrate technologies that support the accomplishment of passive search, active search, passive threat warning, active laser based countermeasure, threat identification and threat targeting. These technologies should be compatible with the subsystems of the MEDUSA system. It is the desire of AFRL to consider technologies that offer required capabilities with minimal impact to the integration and installation of the equipment in high performance, low observable combat aircraft.
