Description

Sources are sought to provide Maintenance and Repair of Leased Construction Equipment for the Alaskan Command at Annette Island Alaska, in accordance with the following information. The duration of the contract, to include all options, is anticipated to be five (5) years. This synopsis is for informational purposes only and is not considered to be a commitment by the government. The government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notification or otherwise pay for information or inquiry. Respondents shall include a statement regarding their certified qualifications and experience to provide maintenance and repair service. Services required are: (a) Ability to receive service calls 24 hours a day/7 days a week. (b) The contractor must determine that the Joint Forces Engineering Component (JFECC) mechanic has the capability to perform any minor repair(s) on the leased equipment. (c) Ability to evaluate damage to leased equipment within 24 hours of being contacted by the Contracting Officer or Contract Administrator. (d) Contractor shall provide the contracting office a copy of technical evaluation with the estimate to repair the damage. Contractor must be able to provide maintenance and parts for the following equipment: Single Drum Vibratory Compactor with an Elliot Grid, MFR: Pro Pac, Model: SD-150D . Air Track Drill Compressor, MFR: Ingersoll-Rand, Model: EMC350 . Self-Contained Track Drill, Ingersoll-Rand, Model: EMC370 . Drill. Self-Contained Hydraulic, MFR: Ingersoll-Rand, Model: ECM490 . Portable Cone Plant (Rock Crusher), MFR: Cedar Rapids, Model: 1316 . Type of rock being crushed: TRONDHJEMITE GRANITE (QUARTZ DIORZTE). 50 Ton Hydraulic Excavator, MFR: Hitachi, Model: EX400LC . 35 Ton Hydraulic Excavator, MFR: Hitachi, Model: EX330LC . Backhoe, Model: JCB Series 215-4WD . Soil Compactor, Model: 825C . Articulated Hauler, 30 Ton Quarry Truck, MFR: Volvo, Model: A25C . Drill, Self-Contained Hydraulic, MFR: Ingersoll-Rand, Model: ECM490. Portable Cone Plant (Rock Crusher), MFR: Cedar Rapids, Model: 1316. All maintenance performed by the contractor shall be conducted on-site at Annette Island, Alaska. The maximum acceptable down time for maintenance of equipment is 24 hours. If repairs are not made within 72 hours of breakdown a credit for the downtime or an acceptable replacement will be provided. Emergency Equipment Repairs: Emergency Equipment Repairs: Repairs caused by other than normal wear and tear of the leased equipment. Repairs will be coordinated between the JFECC, Contracting Officer, and vendor.
