Description

This project consists of fabrication and installation of three separate excitation systems for the Webbers Falls Powerhouse and two separate excitation systems at the Keystone Powerhouse. The excitation systems are used on synchronous generators to provid e current (excitation) into the generator field winding. The amount of current is regulated by means of a continuously acting voltage regulator to maintain the proper generator terminal voltage. Both projects will be awarded under one contract and both p rojects will be executed concurrently. Plans and specifications will be available on or about November 6, 2001, and will be provided on Compact Disk (CD-ROM). THE NUMBER OF CD-ROMS WILL BE LIMITED TO ONE (1) PER FIRM.
