Description

Snow Plowing Services at Naval Reserve Center in Saginaw MI Parking Lots: Snow shall be plowed from the streets, sidewalks,=20 and parking lot as indicated on the attached drawing. The estimated total area of snow plowing is 112,000 square feet. Fire Hydrants: All fire hydrants shall be kept clear of snow at all times, such that the operation of the hydrant is unhampered due to snow accumulation. Site Visit: Offerors or quoters are expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may effect the cost of contract performance, to the extend that he information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract has been awarded. Arrangements to visit the site of the work for the purpose of preparing a quotation can be made by contract the Commanding Officer of the reserve center at (989) 754-3091. The contractor shall commence snow plowing when snow accumulation reaches three (3) inches. When three (3) inches have accumulated, the required response time is two (2) hours. Upon completion of each plow, the contractor will provide the Commanding Officer or his representative one delivery invoice (this is not a billing invoice) for verification of work completed.
