Description

This solicitation, which appeared in the CBDNet on October 9, 2001, is modified to add the following: 952.000-4133 Pre-Proposal Conference. a. A pre-proposal conference will be conducted at the: Hurlburt AFB Resident Office; Date: 14 November 2001; Time: 0900 hrs. All interested proposers are urged to attend. During this conference, the requirements set forth in the solicitation will be reviewed and discussed, with part of the conference to include a question and answer period. Tour of the site will follow the conference. The duration of the conference and tour will be approximately one (1) day. b. It is requested that a representative of each offeror attend the pre-proposal conference. Number of attendees is limited to four from each firm. Names of individuals from each company who will attend the conference should reach the following addressee no later than five (5) working days prior to the conference. Corps of Engineers Hurlburt Field Resident Office, Attn: Mr. Joey Walker, P O box 9217, Hurlburt Field, FL 32544-9217, fax: (850) 884-4369, phone (850) 884-6491/4370. a. Name of firm with complete mailing address. b. Name, title, and phone number of each representative. Offerors should visit the site and take such other steps, as may be reasonable necessary to ascertain the nature and location of the work, and the general and local conditions, which can affect the work or the cost thereof. Failure to do so shall not relieve offerors from responsibility for estimating properly the difficulty or cost of successfully performing the work. The Government shall assume no responsibility for any understanding or representations concerning conditions made by any of its officers or agents prior to the execution of the contract, unless included in the Request for Proposals, the specifications, or related documents. In this regard, Offerors should note Contract Clause FAR 52.236-3 "Site Investigation and Conditions Affecting the Work." All other information published in the original synopsis remains unchanged.
