Description

Work on the Hammond Anderson Wetland Restoration Project consists of mobilization, site preparation in the form of concrete structure removal, tree and brush removal on approximately 7 acres, removal of approximately 860,000 gallons of water, and approximately 238,300 cubic yards of dike material and sediment. Bid bond in the amount of 20% of the bid is required. Performance and payment bonds of 100% each will be required of the contractor awarded any resultant contract. USDA participates in the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program; therefore competition for this project is unrestricted and is not set aside for small business concerns. A 10% price evaluation adjustment for eligible small disadvantaged business concerns is included in the solicitation. A 10% price evaluation adjustment for eligible Hub-Zone small business concerns is included in the solicitation. Performance time will be from approximately December 10, 2001 to April 5, 2002. Price range is from $250,000 to $500,000. Prospective bidders may request a copy of the solicitation package by faxing the following information to the contracting officer at 402-437-5165. Site showing will be conducted at the site on Tuesday, November 6, 2001, at 10:00 a.m. local time. =20
