Description

The Federal Correctional Institution located at Pekin, Illinois is seeking sources interested in submitting quotations to provide Obstetric & Gynecology non-personal services for the female inmate population at the facility. The awarded contract will consist of a base year with two additional option years. The contract will require two (2) sessions performed each month. The session length will be four (4) hours in duration. The contractor will provide professional services, consultation, recommendations and expertise in the field of Obstetrics & Gynecology and for the treatment of related diseases and conditions. The contractor will be required to be licensed to practice medicine in the state of Illinois and be board certified in the field of Obstetrics & Gynecology. Documentation of credentials will be required in all responses. The contractor will also be required to have admitting privileges at the local currently contracted medical center. Contract award will be based on price with all qualifications having been satisfied. The procurement will be a small business set-aside. The projected date for issuance of a solicitation is November 8, 2001. The projected date for contract award is November 22, 2001. This will be considered a commercial item acquisition in accordance with FAR Pt.12.3.
