Description

MODIFICATION -- Block 17 is hereby changed to read as follows: The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), Federal Correctional Institution (FCI Elkton), located in Elkton, Ohio, requires (3) Licensed Practical Nurses to perform on-site nursing services for the inmate population. Each individual (3) will conduct a maximum of 30 (1) hour sessions. Each session is defined as (1) hour in length and may be combined. FCI Elkton will furnish all routinely needed nursing supplies, and all reports will remain property of FCI Elkton. The Contractor will be responsible for the following: interpreting physicians's orders, administering medication, assisting with medical inventories, performing vaccinations, clerical duties, information gathering, and aiding the Pharmacist. The services will be performed at the FCI Elkton Health Services Department. The project involves work inside the secure perimeter of the Federal Correctional Institution. The performance period will be the base year and the possibility of four option years. This is a small business set-aside, restricted to small businesses eligible to receive award. A security investigation/clearance is required. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit an offer that will be considered for award. The solicitation will be available on or after October 23, 2001, and will be distributed through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available except in extreme circumstances AND only if issuance in this manner is determined to be in the Government's best interest.
