Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, South Central Regional Office, Dallas, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services for the Federal Correctional Institution in Forrest City, Arkansas. Services to be provided include inpatient/outpatient physician services, inpatient/outpatient facility services, and outpatient institution services. The contract type shall be a firm-fixed price, indefinite delivery/requirements contract. The contract period shall consist of a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods for renewal. The estimated quantities are as follows: Base Year -- 400 inpatient days and 300 outpatient visits; Option Year 1 -- 700 inpatient days and 525 outpatient visits; Option Year 2 -- 710 inpatient days and 535 outpatient visits; Option Year 3 -- 710 inpatient days and 535 outpatient visits; Option Year 4 -- 710 inpatient days and 535 outpatient visits. The solicitation will be made available on or about November 19, 2001, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions.
