THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY -- Solicitation are not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The Federal Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for sewer service at a proposed Federal Correctional Institution located on the Durham-Granville County line approximately one mile northwest of Butner, North Carolina. The facility will include housing to accommodate approximately 1,500 inmates, and will include warehouse space, ancillary buildings, and other generic institutional elements. Sewer service shall be available for testing, with a connection by June 1, 2003. Permanent sewer service is required for use by December 1, 2003. The Contractor shall be capable to provide the proposed FCI with an estimated 255,000 gallons per day, in addition to the existing sewer requirements. The estimated total annual sewer requirement for all facilities located at this site is 372,300,000 gallons. The estimates provided are for the contractor's benefit and are not a guarantee of revenue of usage. Contractors capable of providing sewer services to the FCI and interested in receiving a solicitation must submit a written request for the Request for Proposal (RFP).
