Description

ISSUE DATE: 11/13/01. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary to complete the following work: Replace 70 feet of an existing, broken, 8-inch diameter storm sewer pipe at USCG Group South Portland. Excavation of the broken pipe will require a saw cut through approximately 2 inches of asphalt pavement and 6 inches of reinforced concrete pavement; The depth of the pipe is between 4 feet and 6 feet below grade. Install two new 4-foot diameter manholes and prestressed concrete pipe, and repave affected area with asphalt cement concrete. The NAICS code is 234910. Estimated cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Performance time is 14 days. Onsite work to commence on or about 01 May 2002. Solicitation packages to be available on or about 11/13/2001.
