Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into negotiations on a sole source basis with Boeing Co., St. Louis, MO to design and develop 60 each Retrofit Kits for the F/A-18 AWM 100 P/N 74D750051-1003 to support end to end testing of the AIM-9 L/M/X Missile. As the designer, developer, integrator and original equipment manufacturer of the original AWM 100 Test Set, Boeing Co. is the only known company that possesses the experience, knowledge and technical expertise to perform these requirements within the timeframe required. The Government does not own the specifications, source code, drawings or data. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
