Description

Contractor shall provide New Jersey Concrete Safety Shape Barriers. The barriers shall include a 2 feet x 8 inches opening in the bottom reveal for drainage and lifting purposes. The dimensions shall be base 2 feet, height 2 feet 10 inches and length 12 fe et. Concrete used in fabrication of the barriers shall have a 28 day compressive strength of 5,000 PSI. Concrete shall have a smooth finish. Minimum concrete coverage over reinforcement shall be 1.5 inches. Reinforcement shall be 4x4x4/4 steel welded wire fabric in asingle layer placed vertically in the geometric center of the barrier. Reinforcement shall extend for the full height of the barrier less allowances for minimum concrete cover. The resulting award will be requirements contract with a base year a nd four option years. The estimated quantitiesfor the Base Year and the Four Option Years are five hundred (500) per year. All responsible sources may submit a quotation (received prior to closing date and time on the solicitation), which shall be consider ed.
