Description

In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.205(e), this CBD synopsis serves as a second notice within a 90 calendar-day period publicizing the requirement for Administrative Support Services for the Naval Air Warfare Center Training System Division (NAWCTSD) as described in solicitation N61339-01-R-0028. This requirement was previously publicized on 13 September 01 announcing the reissuance of solicitation N61339-01-R-0028 on an unrestricted basis (i.e. full and open competition) in accordance with OPNAVINST 4860.7C, Navy Commercial Activity (CA) Programs. Revisions to the solicitation necessitated by the change from a small business set-aside to an unrestricted acquisition have been incorporated in Amendment 0006 (issued 16 OCT 01) and responses to solicitation questions received to date have been provided in Amendment 0007 (issued 29 OCT 01). Offerors are encouraged to visit the NAWCTSD web site at http://www.ntsc.navy.mil/EBusiness/BusOps/BusOps.htm to download these amendments (Instructions: click on the "Open Acquisitions" link appearing on the left side of the screen and then select "RFP Notice" from the second drop-down menu titled "Document Types" appearing at the top of the following screen). The solicitation closing date has not been extended as a result of issuance of Amendments 0006 and 0007 and the closing date remains 2:00 PM EST on 15 November 2001 (Past Performance Volumes were due 2:00 PM EST on 19 October 2001). Please be advised that all information regarding this procurement will only be made available via the web site referenced above and periodic monitoring of this web site for updated information is highly recommended.
