Description

U.S. Coast Guard, Maintenance and Logistics Command Atlantic, intends to issue a sole source purchase order with Germanischer Lloyd to survey the USCGC EAGLE?s main mast to bring it into class. Germanischer Lloyd is the only known company that has the expertise to perform this service. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $50,000.00. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all quotes received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete as a result of quotes received is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
