This is a synopsitation for commodities issued by 55th Contracting Squadron, Offutt AFB, NE. This document was prepared in accordance with the format found in the Federal Acquisition Regulations Document (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement is a request for quotations, A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Offutt AFB intends to issue a purchase order for commodities for The Rental Of Video Equipment and Labor for the USAF Heartland of America Band Christmas Concert. The requirement is as follows: 1. 5000 Lumen Video/Data Projectors with Long Zoom Lenses (3-5.5 Focal Length) ? Qty 2 2. 9? x 12? Front Projection Screens with rigging hardware and rope ? Qty 2 3. Beta format video deck ? Qty 1 4. 8? Preview monitors ? Qty 2 5. Computer Interface ? Qty 2 6. RGB Switcher ? Qty 1 7. Analogue Way Smartfade Seamless Graphics Switcher to display computer and video with high resolution output 1024x768 minimum ? Qty 1. 8. RGB Distribution Amp ? Qty 1. 9. 8x4 Matrix Routing Switcher ? Qty 1. 10. Labor (all times to be determined) to include: Load in, Load out, 5 shows and 2 rehearsals -- Qty 1 Week. The estimated performance period is 3 Dec ? 9 Dec 2001. This is being solicited with the basic year and 4 option years. =20 SIC Code is 3861; this solicitation is issued as 100 percent small business set-aside. SBA Size Standard is 500 employees. Complete written quotations must be physically received by the 55 Contracting Squadron, 101 Washington Square, Offutt AFB by 07 November, 2001 at 4:00 pm CST. All potential bidders are reminded, in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contract Registration, that lack of registration in the CCR database by 07 November, 2001 will make a bidder ineligible for award.
