Description
This is a pre-solicitation notice, not a Request for Proposal. The project solicitation and its specifications will be issued in web only format at http://www.nws.usace.army.mil/ct on or about November 26, 2001. Web only format means that specifications and/or drawings will be available only via the Seattle District web site. No compact disks will be mailed to registered firms. However, all firms are required to register on the web in order to receive notification of amendments or updates via electronic mail. No phone or facsimile requests accepted. Contract Information: Multidisciplinary, Maintenance, Repair and Minor Construction Work with contract task orders normally ranging from $2,000 to $500,000. The contract will not exceed a cumulative of $60 Million. Proposed procurement will result in an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity type contract. Actual work requirements will be fulfilled through the award of task orders subsequently identified. Project awarded will involve the following types of work, i.e., HVAC, electrical, carpentry, maso nry, glazing, painting, plumbing, roofing, welding, steam fitting, bricklaying, sheet metal, soft flooring, plastering, asbestos removal, insulation removal/installation, ceiling systems, doors, concrete, paving and related site work, excavation, cabinet c onstruction or installation, and miscellaneous construction. Contract is for a base year and four option years. The estimated award date of the contract is April 10, 2002. To be eligible for contract award, a firm must be registered in the DoD Central Co ntractor Registration (CCR). Register via the CCR Internet site at http://www.ccr.gov or by contacting the DoD Electronic Commerce Information Center at 1-888-227-2423. Estimated dollar value is in the range between $25 Million and $100 Million. The St andard Industrial Classification (SIC) code has been replaced by the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code. The NAICS code for this project is 23332, which is matched to SIC code 1542. Project is open to both large and small business . If you are a large business, you will be required to submit a subcontracting plan with goals for small, HUBZone, small disadvantaged, small woman-owned and small veteran-owned concerns. For the purposes of this procurement, a concern is considered a sm all business if its annual average gross revenue, taken for the last three fiscal years, does not exceed $27.5 Million.
