This procurement is for the acquisition of Engine Barrier Filter (EBF) Kits for the Kiowa Warrior Helicopter. The National Stoc k Number (NSN) is: 1560-01-487-1890. An Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) type contract is anticipated. The minimum quantity will be for 86 each up to the maximum quantity of 192 each. Justification and Approval appi es for other than full and open competition at FAR 6.302-1 for, Only one responsible source or only from a limited number of responsible sources and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Government intends to conduct a limite d competition restricted to the following approved sources: Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc., Ft. Worth, TX and Westar Corporation, Saint Charles, MO. Selection for award will be based on technical acceptance and lowest price. Only approved sources will be considered for award. Numbered Note: 26.
