Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire a multi-task, double arm boat davit system and cradle assembly. The following are the required specifications for the boat davit system: electronic/hydraulic power, twin arm davit with cross beam, safe working load of 26,000 pounds with capability of launching, recovering and stowing multiple combinations of small craft with single and twin point suspension systems, hoisting and lowering achieved with an electro-mechanical winch system will be supplied with a self contained davit structure, electrical panels with cabling, hydraulic power pack, control station with integrated flat screen and a multi-coat paint system applied to all components. This procurement is a Foreign Military Sale and a Simplified Acquisition Procedures/Commercial Items (SAP/CI), sole source acquisition with Welin Lambie NA Inc., 18 Ridgecrest Drive, Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Canada under the authority of FAR 6.320-1. Welin Lambie is the only known provider of these supplies at this time. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A firm, fixed price contract will be awarded as a result of this Request for Quotation (RFQ).
