Description

This is a synopsis for a commercial service. This announcement constitutes a synopsis only. This procurement is unrestricted. The solicitation document will incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation. The NAICS code for this project is 811219 (annual income of 5.0 million or less). The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, parts and transportation required to maintain and repair government owned Beckman Coulter liquid scintillation equipment and gamma equipment at the Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, Los Angeles, CA and the VA Long Beach Healthcare System, Long Beach, CA facilities. The successful contractor must have local facilities and service technicians to be able to respond within two hours of initial service call. The intended contract will be for a base period of one year with the government=92s option to extend the contract in one-year increments for four (4) one-year option periods. The solicitation issue date will be on or about September 24, 2001 with proposals due on or about November 13, 2001 at 4:00PM.
