Description

The Memphis, Millington office of Contracting is seeking potential sources for the follow-on contract for Base Operating Support Services (BOSS) at the Naval Support Activity Mid-South contract with J.A. Jones Management Services, Inc (N62467-97-D-0651). This contract expires on September 30, 2002. Requirements include the following services to be performed: Heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, systems operations & maintenance (O & M); building & structures & miscellaneous; utility plants, systems; grounds & surface areas; pest control; transportation O & M; transportation of personal property; custodial; environmental and other services related to a federal public works operation. Proposal evaluation will be in accordance with procedures set forth in Section M of the Request for Proposal. It is the Government?s intention to issue this solicitation exclusively through the Internet at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil the entire solicitation will be available at the site for viewing or downloading. Prospective Offerors are encouraged to register at the web site. This will normally be the only method of distribution of amendments. Therefore, it is the offeror?s responsibility to periodically check the web site for amendments to the solicitation. The official plan holder list will also be maintained on and can be printed from the website. RFP issuance date will be on or about December 9, 2001. The resultant contract will have a base year with four one-year option periods. The contract type will be a combination firm fixed- price and indefinite quantity. This is a negotiated source selection procurement, which consists of the submission of price and technical proposals. The NAICS for this procurement is 561210 with a size standard of $20 Million. This is not a request for proposals and no solicitation is available at this time. The Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The due date for responses is November 12, 2001.
