Description

The Fleet and Family Support Center (FFSC) at the Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Maryland requires a newsletter to be printed monthly to market various programs, services, and education and training workshops and seminars. The FFSC's desire is to upgrade the look, design, and graphics as well as market the new name and logo. The FFSC will provide examples similar to the requirement. The newsletters will be mailed out by the FFSC the second Friday of each month for the following month (i.e. October 2001 Newsletter would be mailed out on September 14, 2001). The FFSC Program Manager will have the newsletter material ready for the contractor 30 days prior to the mailing date. The contractor will be responsible for the following: Concept and design of newsletter format; Layout and design of text, images and photos provided monthly by the Program Manager; A proof provided to the Program Manager 5-7 days after submission of text and images for acceptance; A guaranteed 5-7 day production turn around from Program Manager acceptance of the proof; 100# gloss text, #1 grade; 11X17 saddlestitched to 8 1/2X11; The coverpage will have a header with title utilizing the Navy approved four-color logo; Four color process throughout the newsletter to include graphics; 2000 copies to be printed and securely tabbed for mailing. The contractor will provide mail preparation services that include address labeling and sorting the newsletter according to U.S. Postal Service regulations. The FFSC will be responsible for the actual mailing. All quotations are due no later than 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 29, 2001.
