Description

Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Contract for Design/Build services for the following projects; 1) construct a new bridge over the Maritza River at Sinitevo. Execute design-build of reinforced concrete piers and abutments; fabricate and deliver to site the horizontal assembly pieces and erection materials for installation by Military Engineer Task Force (ETF); 2) upgrade existing vehicular bridge over the Maritza River at Ognianovo. Structural loading capacity will be upgraded from 15T to 30T through application of SIKA (or equal) carbon fiber plates with epoxy adhesive. Contractor shall provide carbon-fiber reinforcing plates (SIKA or equal); deliver to site and perform quality assurance during installation by ETF troops 3) execute various interior and exterior repairs to buildings, utilities and sites at two orphanages in Bratisigovo; 4) Repair of Base Camp Barracks, Plovdiv. Execute various interior, exterior and utility system repairs to barracks and administrative buildings. Solicitation will be issued on or about November 9, 2001. The proposed facilities design/build will be administered under United States procurement laws and regulations. Contract will be awarded and paid in U.S. dollars. Proposals will be received on or about December 9, 2001. Estimated cost of proposed procurement is in the range of $500,000 to $1,000,000. Estimated completion time: Staggered completion times, between early May and end of July 2002, with the final facility to be complete in 180 calendar days. SIC code 1542.
