Description

The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, and incidental supplies necessary to perform brushing of Forest Service Roads located in various counties in Kentucky on the Daniel Boone National Forest. Work shall include, but is not limited to: 1) felling all brush and trees greater than 1/2 inch in diameter and less than 6 inches in diameter within the roadway clearing limits; 2) pruning tree limbs that overhang the clearing limits of the road; and 3) disposal of debris created by felling and pruning, by scattering outside the clearing limits. The NAICS Code is 115310, Support Activities for Forestry, applies to this project. The Small Business Size Standard is $5,000,000. This project is being solicited using the Request for Quotations format and is set-aside for Small Business Concerns. The estimated dollar value of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000.
