- PROJECT TITLE AND LOCATION: Indefinite Delivery Type Requirements Contract, Emergency Levee Repairs South of I-80, Sacramento/San Joaquin River Basins, California. THIS PROPOSED CONTRACT IS UNRESTRICTED. JOB DESCRIPTION: This is an Indefinite Delivery Type Requirements Contract for emergency levee repairs, south of I-80, Sacramento/San Joaquin River Basin. The intent of this contract is to provide a rapid response for the repair of levee breaks or potential levee breaks based on the work items identified in the pricing schedule. The contractor must be able to mobilize to the site of the emergency repairs within 8 hours of notification by the contracting officer that a task order will be issued against this contract. The contractor shall be prepared to do all repair work under the task order on a 24-Hour-A-Day basis until the work is completed and shall have available adequate lighting equipment and electrical generators in order to keep the site fully functional during the night. The contractor must be able to fully mobilize and respond to a minimum of two different sites simultaneously. Deliveries or performance dates/schedules will be established by task orders. Initial contract will be for 1 year with 3 option years. There is no minimum guaranteed amount. Yearly Value, Base Year -- $10,000,000 maximum. Yearly Value, Option Year 1 -- $10,000,000 maximum. Yearly Value, Option Year 2 -- $10,000,000 maximum. Yearly Value, Option Year 3 -- $10,000,000 maximum. The work covered by this contract does not include work for which a solicitation has appeared in the CBD. It does not include work for which a PIR has been initiated. It does not include work for which a PCA has been proposed or consummated. It includes work responding to events occurring or conditions discovered after award. NAICS Code: This procurement will be conducted under NAICS Code: 234990. The size standard for this NAICS code is $27,500,000.00. Large business competing for this project must comply with the FAR 52.219-9 clause regarding the requirement for a subcontracting plan on the part of the work it intends to subcontract. The recommended goals for subcontracting are 61.4% for small business, 9.1% for small disadvantaged business, and 5.0% for small business/women owned. A firm that submits a plan with lesser goals must submit written rationale to support goals submitted. Estimated cost is between $25,000,000.00 and $100,000,000.00.
