Description

The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS intends to award a sole source contract to Universal Systems Ltd, dba CARIS, 264 Rookwood Avenue, Fredericton E3B 2M2 Canada. This contract is for the acquisition of CARIS software support and update service for existing Government-owned CARIS software for the period beginning 01 Oct 2001 and ending 30 Sep 2002. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A written solicitation will not be issued. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. A determination by the Contracting Officer not to compete this action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This procurement action is being conducted under FAR 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. See Note(s) 22.
